Ideal for both the classroom and office

The software and features of the RP860K make it suitable for both the classroom and office. The board uses BenQ’s EZ Write program for writing and annotation, creating a large, touch sensitive surface which can be used as a whiteboard, or to annotate over pictures and documents. Anything you do can be easily saved and sent to attendees, or held onto for a later date.

With the RP860K in whiteboard mode, it will function like a digital marker board. Its large white surface can be written on with your finger in a variety of different colors and thicknesses. And with 20 points of touch, more than one person can use it at a time – having multiple users at the board is not an issue.

It is also possible to annotate over pictures and documents. You could mark up a contract with proposed changes or collaborate over a new product design. Coaches can go over plays with ease. Law enforcement can review a building layout and draw an entry plan. All of this work can then be saved and sent to attendees.

Collaboration made easy

The RP860K makes collaboration easy. The screen generates a QR code to be scanned by attendees on their mobile device. They can then view the presentation on their screen. For users that cannot scan the code, it will provide a URL and ID number which provides the same access.

With the touch of a button, members of the audience can also be given writing privileges. Audience members can then write on their mobile device while at their seat and have it show up on the screen. This creates a truly collaborative experience, but with the presenter in total control. At any point, audience writing privileges can be turned off with the press of a button.

Easy access to saved settings and documents

In a room with multiple users, it is possible to have each individual save their particular settings, as well as have easy access to Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox and more.

The RP860K features a card reader on its front panel which will read an NFC card. Users simply scan their card and the screen will load their information. They do not have to worry about logins or lost passwords. Just scan the card and pick up where they left off.

The NFC card is roughly the size of a credit card.
