The Project
Manager has the primary
responsibility for overseeing
operations and direction within
the Installation, Product
Support & Service, Technical
Support, System Design &
Programming, and the Warehouse –
Shipping & Receiving
Departments.
Qualifications
Preferred: A
bachelor’s degree in
Engineering from an
accredited college or
university
Preferred:
Three to five years in an
electronic technology
installation environment
Skills, Knowledge
and Ability
The Project
Manager is required to
demonstrate the following
technical skills and abilities:

Knowledge of
common uses of presentation and
control technology and equipment
in the Education, House of
Worship and Business
Communication sectors.
·
The ability to
read, analyze and interpret
general business periodicals,
professional journals, technical
procedures and government
regulations.
·
The ability to do
routine calculations, including
adding, subtracting, multiplying
and dividing with fractions and
decimals
·
Demonstrates
basic computer skills including,
but not limited to the use of
Microsoft Excel and Word
·
Defines problems,
collects data, establishes facts
and draws valid conclusions.
·
The person in
this position needs to posses
the technical understanding
necessary to direct technically
oriented managers and
supervisors.
·
It is essential
that the Project Manager posses
strong interpersonal skills and
be able to attain the goals of
the department and position.
·
The Project
Manager must be able to read and
write English well enough to
communicate effectively with the
managers and employees of Master
Audio Visuals and its vendors
and customers.
·
The person in
this position should have the
ability to effectively present
information and respond to
questions from groups of
managers and the public.
A valid state driver’s license
and good driving record is
required.
Physical Requirements
In the day-to-day
performance of his/her job, the
Project Manager has the
following requirements.

Regularly exposed
to moderate noise such as
computers or light traffic

The person in
this position must be able to
determine that a sound system is
accurately reproducing sound.
Vision
Requirements

Must be able to
clearly see with or without
corrective lenses to read close
subjects such as books and
drawings.

Requires depth
perception including the ability
to judge distances and spatial
relationships.

The ability to
distinguish colors is required.
·
Requires the
ability to adjust focus from a
fixed object to a projector
screen or drawing.
Working Environment
·
The person in
this position will usually work
in a climate-controlled,
non-smoking office.
·
The person in
this position will need to visit
project sites that may be out of
doors. He or she may be exposed
to inclimate weather.
·
The person in
this position may be exposed to
dust and chemical fumes incurred
in the service and installation
of equipment and systems.
